PLAYFORD, Theresa
After a short illness, Englehart resident Theresa Playford died September 26, 2014, at Ottawa General Hospital. She was born in Kirkland Lake on June 18, 1933, to Adelard and Amy Menard where she received her education. Mrs. Playford was surrounded by her family who she loved and who will miss her dearly. Being a mom, grandma, and great-grand-parent are what brought her the greatest joy. Mrs. Playford is survived by her children Brenda, Melinda, Maureen (Duncan), Jack (Kim), Cindy (Hank) and their father Jack Playford. She is also survived by her grandchildren Robin, Dana, Krisma, Brandi, Kyle, Brady, Andrea, Jake and Jayde; great-grandchildren Hailee, Ty, Rihana, Makayla, Ethan, Emma, Olivia and Lucas. A celebration of Theresa`s life will be held at a later date in Charlton. The family has asked that donations be made to the Rotel Foundation (411 Smyth Road, Ottawa, K1H 8M8), a Rotary Club service which provides families and outpatients a place to stay to be close to their loved ones during visits to Ottawa-area hospitals.
