KACZMAREK, Stanley George
Stanley George Kaczmarek of Charlton, died at home on Long Lake surrounded by his family and friends on February 27, 2011, after a three month valiant fight against cancer. He was born in Red Lake, Ontario on May 6, 1955 to Leokadia Czypaniak and Jan Kaczmarek. He came to Charlton from Hamilton in 2008. Mr. Kaczmarek retired in 2008 from Veolia (Heist) in Hamilton where he did industrial high power waterblasting and vacuuming. He loved relaxing at his little piece of paradise after his relocation from Hamilton. He enjoyed golfing at the New Liskeard Golf Club and fishing for pickerel on Long Lake in Charlton. Mr. Kaczmarek is survived by Margaret-Dianne, the love of his life and also son, Ron (Itsuko) of Japan. He was predeceased by his mother and father from Hamilton, originally from Madsen, Ontario. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was the youngest of four brothers, and is survived by brothers Walter of Hamilton, Jerry of Madsen, their wives Sherron and Cathy, his wife’s niece Sheila Price of Hamilton and long time friend, Diane Gerrish of Hamilton. Arrangements are entrusted to LG Wallace Funeral Home in Hamilton. Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 5 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 6th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, March 7 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Kenneth Barr of Hamilton. Cremation to follow. Pallbearers will be Thom Price, Scott Duncan, Jerry Kaczmarek, Henry Kaczmarek, Walter Kaczmarek and Stanley’s godson, Cory Kaczmarek. Donations in memory of Mr. Kaczmarek can be donated to the New Liskeard Happy Paws (Box 3017, New Liskeard, ON POJ IPO) or the Canadian Cancer Society.
