Mr. Roland Howard passed away on Monday, July 28, 2008 at Extendicare Kirkland Lake at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his son Bryan Howard. Roland is survived by his spouse Ilene; daughter Marlene (Karl) Yarky; grandchildren Greg and Cindy and sister Una Campbell. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Friday, August 1, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Memorial service will be held at the Kirkland Lake Kingdom Hall (1150 Government Rd. West) on Saturday, August 2, 2008. The service time is to be confirmed. Donations in Roland’s memory may be made to the Kirkland Lake Kingdom Hall (c/o Chaput Hughes Post Office, Chaput Hughes, ON.
