WATERMAN, Robert
In loving memory of Mr. Robert Waterman who passed away at Englehart & District Hospital, on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the age of 71. Born in Galt, Ontario on December 14, 1945, Robert was the was the son of the late Robert (Pete) & Kathleen (Kay) Waterman. Robert was married to Heather Lapsley on April 30, 1976 in Preston Ontario. Robert will be remembered as a man of many words. He loved fishing, hunting and farming. He enjoyed going fishing with Alysa his `Fishing Buddie`. He loved spending time with his family and adored being with his grandchildren. Robert was always willing to lend a helping hand to help others. Pre-deceased by his parents Pete & Kay Waterman and his best friend & mentor Elmer Field. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Heather (Lapsley) Waterman, children Peter (Erin) and Kim (Curtis). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Drake, Rose, Alysa, Cayden, Nolan, Phillip and Elizabeth; siblings William (Buster), John, Jim (Rosemary) & Fred; his nieces Sara, Rachel (Josh), Cherrie (Allen), Leanne, great nephew Travis and great niece Codie (Jacob). In keeping with the family`s wishes, there will be no visitation or service at this time and cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held this summer in Englehart and in Cambridge at a later date. In lieu of donations, do a good deed.
