I spent time with Rick in the 70’s, & he was always fun to be around! I moved away in the early 80’s, but we always took a moment to chat whenever I was home. I’ll miss seeing his smiling face! RIP Rick

Well its hard to imagine such a nice man is gone….he was our goalie for yrs playing hockey and was one nice guy for sure….quiet mainly but sincerely a good guy….I bet he will be sorely missed by his family and loved ones……I send my prayers to you all….

I was very sorry to hear the news concerning Rick. I have many good memories of him-first as a student and than later as a friend and fellow oldtimer hockey player. We shared many good times. A good guy! My condolences to the family.–Brian

It seems like only yesterday when we would drive all night up and down Government Road in my dad’s baby blue 61 Thunderbird. You will be missed by all that knew you that for sure. Rick was such an amazing person. He enjoyed talking to people and would always say hi. He was very patient man especially when driving the hockey boys for out of town games. He would also make sure to bring the boys to grab something to eat after each game no matter what time it was. He was always in a good mood. So sorry for your loss

Rick was an amazing well-rounded person, he enjoyed family and friends, he was always smiling and quick to share a hug when you needed one the most…we will miss you Rick, may you rest in peace.

My condolences to the family. Rick and I along with Rheal Roy, Richard Pare and many others all grew up hanging together and had a great time playing in a band and just having fun. I moved away in 1975 and lost track of Rick until moving back home here to K.L 7 years ago and we reconnected. He was a good man and always worked hard, and loved his children.
