Our condolences to our western cousins on the passing of your dad. We have great memories of your dad. Gerry remembers playing horseshoes with your dad at Jim and Marie’s. One story I remember is Uncle Dick picking blueberries for Auntie Dee and I when we visited in 2006. You were blessed so have so many wonderful years with your dad.

We want to extend our sincere sympathy to the McNamara family on the death of their father Dick. He became a special friend to us during our ten year stay in Kirkland Lake. We remember many fun bonspiels played with the K of C members. Our belated sympathy too in death of their mother Marguerite. We were not aware of her passing. She too was a close friend. God Bless.

Peter, Marie and McNamara family, please accept our sympathies. I first met your father 30 some years ago at Northern Canada Sales when buying supplies to sink the deep Macassa shaft. He was a gentle giant amongst men and truly a nice guy.

I am moved to tears at the news of your dear Dads death! Oh so many many fond memories of our days in KIrkland! all the March 17th’s the babysitting days and so on! Wonderful man. Always treated me with kindness and humour. I visited him a couple weeks ago…..and we joked about the growing up on Algonquin. A beautiful painting of your home was on the wall. Absolutely perfect memories. Great man. Mentor to me. I am so sorry for your loss.

I first met Dick back at Northern Canada Sales many years ago, I knew right away that he was a kind caring man. He took me under his wing and taught me a lot about the business. It saddens me to hear of his passing. My heartfelt condolences to his family!
