It is with great sadness to learn of Mr. Richard passing away. He was a great person, always there to offer his help. My condolences and that of my children also go to all the family.

It is with great sorrow that the family of Rene Felix Richard announces his peaceful passing at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Friday, October 23rd, 2009 at the age of 89. Rene was predeceased by his wife Georgette Richard (Guy), his son George Richard and daughter Rita Richard. Also predeceased by his sisters Irene Cadieux, Aline Cadieux and his brothers Oliva, Lucien and Aldovic. He will always be lovingly remembered by his son Leo (Sharon) and grandchildren Nicole Richard, Marc Richard and Jean Richard, his son Yvon (Jocelyne) and grandchildren Rene Richard (Melissa) and Tina Genest (Gilles), daughter Diane Rae (Brian) and granddaughter Michelle Rae, daughter Rosanne Duguay (Claude-deceased) and grandchildren Claude Duguay (Trina), Line Guillemette (Roch) and Melanie Duguay, and by daughter Lillian Richard. Also lovingly remembered by his great grandchildren Branden Richard, Darren Richard, Carissa Faith Richard, Bobby Genest, Zachary Genest, Katy Genest, Caidence Rae, McKenzie Duguay, Teegan Duguay, Adele Guillemette and Alexie Guillemette and his daughter-in-law Sharon Richard (George-deceased) and grandchildren Mark Richard and Christopher Richard of Kingston . The family will receive relatives and friends at the Matachewan Community Centre on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.. Rene will be laid to rest in the family plot of the Matachewan Cemetery following the service. Donations in Rene’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (P.O.
