It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Neil James Frederick Adair, aged 56.
Neil was predeceased by his father, Frederick George Adair, and survived and deeply missed by his mother, Susan Cusumano (Nat). Neil was the eldest of his siblings: Carrie (Antoine), Andrea (Steve), and Michael (Danielle) of New York; Rob (Nikki), Fred (Laurie) and Paula of Southern Ontario.
Left to mourn Neil's passing is the love of his life, his soulmate, Kim Swanson. Neil leaves behind his greatest accomplishments: his three children - his eldest and only daughter, Cora-Lee (Luca), and his two sons, Nathan and Carter, all of whom he cherished, was deeply proud, and loved with all his heart. Neil also leaves behind his stepson, Jamie, of Kirkland Lake.
A man of immense humour and wisdom, Neil was known for his quick wit, strength and determination, as well as his love for fishing, enjoyment of the outdoors and his passion for cooking. He strove to be the best man and father he could be, despite the challenges that crossed his path. He will be truly missed and remembered by his family and the many friends who had the opportunity to know him along the way. The love we share for our father will forever be remembered, especially through his passion for music. We will think of him often and continue to play his favorite songs.

My heart is breaking for you all. Neil was always quiet but had a great sense of humour and quick wit. He has come to my rescue more times than I can count.
It was always apparent that his family was his first priority and greatest love.
Remember how much he loved you all and find comfort in your memories.

So sorry for your loss. I have a lot of fond memories of Neil from back in the day. I'm sure he faced many challenges and surpassed them all. I hope you all find comfort in knowing that he will be flying the skies with your Dad and not alone. Another Guardian Angel for you
