LAVOIE, Mary Agnes – Agnes peacefully passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Kirkland Lake Extendicare Nursing Home, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband, Albert; great-granddaughter, Brianna; brother, Albert; as well as her sisters, Laura and Marie-Louise. Agnes is survived by: her children, Shirley (Owen) Lavoie, Jeanne-D’Arc (Gerarld) Lavoie-Cormier, Albert Lavoie, Joyce (Ron) Davis and Beatrice (Fern) Lafreniere; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter, her brother Bill Blanchette (Kirkland Lake); and many nieces and nephews. The family will welcome friends at the FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME (111 Burnside Drive, Kirkland Lake, ON., P2N 3L1) on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the French Family Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. The family invites Agnes’ friends and neighbours to the reception at the French Family Funeral Home after the Committal Service. Agnes will be laid to rest with her husband in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff on the second floor of Extendicare for the care they gave Agnes over the years.
