In loving memory of Mrs. Marguerite Marie Savoie who passed away at Temiskaming Hospital, New Liskeard, on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the age of 75. Mrs. Savoie was born February 21, 1939 in Belle-Vallée ON,. Mrs. Savoie started being a cook at Grand Boulevard in Earlton. Then worked as a cook at the Olde Towne Inn, until her retirement in 1997. She was a member of the Paroisse Saint-Jean Baptiste of Earlton and a member of UCFO of Earlton. Pre-deceased by her parents; her husband Eugène (1995), brothers Philippe Ménard & Lucien Ménard, sister Delvina Gaudette, sister in law Lucille Gauthier, brothers in law Roger Gaudette, Henri Boucher, Yvon Gosselin & Alfred Gauthier. She is survived by her 7 children, Donald, Marcel (Nancy), Yvon (Jocelyn), Michel (Suzanne), Colette (Michel), Paul (Réjeanne) & Andre (Gisèle). She will be sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren Jessica, Marc, Darren, Cassandra, Kimberly Ann, Pascal, Amélie, Valérie, Jacob, Paul Jr., Dominic, Véronique, Patrick, Renée, Alexandre and by 3 great grandchildren Cory, Emma & Liam. 5 sisters; Aldéa (Emile) Lachapelle, Angeline (James) Kirkey, Jeanne d`Arc Boucher, Marie Anna (Denis) Breault, Thérèse Gosselin, 2 brothers; Jean-Baptiste (Cécile) Ménard, Zéphirin Ménard, brothers in law; Albert Savoie, Herve (Simone) Savoie, Sisters in law; Georgette Ménard, Madeleine Ménard & Regina Ménard. The family of the late Mrs. Marguerite Marie Savoie will receive friends at the St. Jean Baptiste Parish Hall, Earlton, Tuesday, January 27, from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 am. Father Germain Turcotte officiating.
