LAFRENIERE, LILY – – Suddenly at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Monday, June 4, 2007 in her 78th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Leo “Pete”. A generous & kind-hearted mother to Cécile Dupont (Tony Fillion) of Chaput Hughes, Annette Howey (Mike) of Kirkland Lake and Raymond (Anita) of Sault Ste. Marie. Sadly missed by her much loved grandchildren – Carole O’Neil (Steven), Michelle Fillion (Tracy), Erin Callin (Rod), Yves Dupont (Shylo), Renée Howey, Jessica Lafreniere and Raymond Lafreniere Jr. Fondly remembered by 4 great-grandchildren – Carter, Reece, Marshall and Tyson. Predeceased by her dear father, Jean-Baptiste David. Visitation will be held at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, 705-567-3565) on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Lily’s life will be held in the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Lily will be laid to rest beside her husband Pete at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery following the service. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (38 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake P2N 2E2) or the Ontario SPCA (Temiskaming Branch, New Liskeard P0J 1P0) and would be greatly appreciated by the family.Offer Condolence for the family of Lily Lafreniere

Annette, Cecile, Raymond and Family; I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts are with you! I knew and felt a special closeness to Mamere and she will surely be missed.
