I got to know Larry when I worked at Home Support. He was a wonderfully kind man, and I very much enjoyed the time I got to spend with him. He always had a smile on his face, and a good story to tell. He will be sadly missed.

LESSARD, Lawrence – Passed away peacefully at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Lawrence was the third eldest of nine children. He was born to the late Marie Rosa (née Godin) and the late Georges Lessard, on April 28, 1933 in Otto Twp, Swastika. Lawrence worked in his trade as an instrumentation technician and electrician for most of his working career. He also thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting with friends and family. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents, Georges Joseph and Marie Rosa (née Godin); his siblings Therese, Marie Rose, Marcel, Ernest, Lorraine (Rolly Mantha), Henry as well as his sisters in law Sandra (née McInnes) Lessard and Eunice (née Jamieson) Lessard. Lawrence is survived by his brothers Maurice and George (Linda Blanchard) Lessard and his sister in law Pauline (née Fournier) Lessard. Lawrence also leaves numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory.
