In loving memory of Mr. Laurent Loranger of Earlton who passed away suddenly at Englehart & District Hospital, on Tuesday, October 07, 2014 at the age of 81. Pre-deceased by his mother Cécile (Gauthier), father Blaise, brother Gérald, sister Laura (Knight), grandson Daniel, nephews Sylvain Léveillé & Rock Forget, brothers-in-law Herb Knight & Yvon Montreuil. He is survived by his loving wife Jeannine, his children; Ghislain (Joanne Cyr), Jocelyne (Peter des Rivières), Réal (Suzanne Duguay), Réjean, Loraine (Jacques Gosselin), Chantal (Dan Fenety), Fabien (Diane Martin), Robin (Katherine Waller). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Corine, Alain, Mathieu, Jolynn, Kristian, Michelle, Justin, Jesse, Joey, Janelle, Meagan, Nicholas, Brooke & Tanner; and by his great grand-children Aiden, Anouk & Liam. Laurent was a wonderful husband and father who worked tirelessly to provide for his family until a work related accident left him confined to a wheelchair. Being a avid guitar player who also loved playing cards and shuffleboard with family and friends. Laurent also loved watching sports, especially cheering for his teams the Toronto Blue Jays & the Toronto Maple Leafs. Despite his limitations, he enjoyed spending his winters in Florida for as long as his health permitted. The family of the late Mr. Laurent Loranger will receive friends at the Saint-Jean- Baptiste Church Hall, Earlton, Friday, October 10, from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church on Saturday, October 11 2014, at 11:00 am. In memory contributions to Diabetes Association will be greatly appreciated by the family.
