McCABE, “Smiley” Kenny – Passed away at the age of 74 years, at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Monday, February 27, 2012 with his loving family at his side. Kenny was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Flora (née Lafrance) McCabe as well as his 16 year old cat, named Hody. Kenny is survived and lovingly remembered by his brothers Wayne (Ingrid) and their son Richard, Don (Conni) and their son Lee, Doug (Linda) and their children Cathie Ratz and Michael McCabe; his dear sisters Marlene (late Sandy Souter) and Elaine (Mike Hartling) and their daughters Susan and Janet Hartling. He will be dearly missed by his precious great nieces and nephews Caitlen, Meagan, Allison Ratz, Mya McCabe, Brianna McCabe, Seth and Eli Boisvert. In honor and in memory of Kenny, a mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a graveside service at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenny’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
