CLIM, Kathleen
1926 - 2023
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Kathleen Clim on November 9, 2023 at Teck Pioneer Residence in her 97th year.
Kathleen was well known and an active member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary ‘87. Kathleen was an avid fishing person and spent many years fishing with her partner Audrey “Dickie” Dixon. She was a true dog lover and raised many of them. Buggies were another favorite of hers.
Born in Chaput Hughes in 1926, she grew up in the area. She attended at West End Public School and went on to work at the Hespler Factories making wartime clothing. Later, Kathleen married Angus “Gus” Clim in 1950.
Predeceased by her husband in 1970, her brothers Roy, Johnny, Lloyd, and sisters Rose and Connie. Kathleen is survived by her son Kalvin (Pauline), and grandchildren Brandon(Andréanne), Erin (Brandon Christo) also her great grandchildren Olivia Clim and Jack Christo. She also leaves in sorrow her close friends Alice McKnight, Emily Boisvert and Pat Sanders, as well as neighbours for many years Neil and Cathy Retty. Never to be forgotten are her nephews Roy (Sandy) and William (Audrey) Lamond.
The family would like to thank Jamie and the rest of the nursing staff, as well as Dr. Moore for the care she received during her stay. Donations in Kathleens memory may be made to the poppy fund. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.

I'm so sorry to hear of Kathleen's passing. I always enjoyed our conversations over the years - we shared many laughs. Kathleen had a great sense of humour and wasn't afraid to say what was on her mind.
My thoughts are with Kathleen's family and friends during this sad time.

I can't think of my childhood without thinking about my many, many visits next door at Mrs. Kay's. I loved going over and just spending time with her - whether we were having our 'coffee' outside in the summer, watching Jeopardy or Wheel-of-Fortune or the Miss Universe Pageant or enjoying a nice meal together. I have so many memories are near and dear to my heart - she will never be forgotten. I loved her so much and I'm so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you and the entire family and sending my sincere condolences.

So sorry to hear the loss of this great lady, i visited her weekly for home support. We become great friends. She shared with me many stories we had much in common like fishing and hunting, i would bring her partridge and walleyes her eyes lit up when i brought to her. I will miss her and her great stories and laughter. RIP KAY YOU WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED
