Bobby and Ivanka I want you to know that I am sorry for your loss. I spent so much time at Joe’s Lunch as a boy and he was a very kind man with the patience of a saint. Over the years my friends and I were often kicked out for our behavior but Joe always welcomed us back in once our punishment was up. My grandmother Colleen lived up stairs and I remember one night she told me to go down and get a cabbage from Ivanka. I thought she wanted me to pick a cabbage from the garden so I came back upstairs with a huge cabbage roots and all. I think she has a photo of it. Whenever I get together with my friends from Vtown Joe’s lunch always comes up in our conversation. Joe was a good man and he will he missed. Sincerely, Darryl Weliczko
