KING, Iva Lillian
Iva Lillian King (Smith), born May 29, 1938, in Brethour Township, to parents Harry and Ella Smith, passed away on April 27, 2022 at the Temiskaming Lodge in Haileybury, Ontario.
She is survived by her 5 children; Evelyn Brown, Earl (Sue), Theresa Doupe (Arnold), Jeff and Jessie Cooper (Stephen), 3 stepchildren Donald Byerly (Peggy), Donna Byerly (Tom) and Brian Byerly (Stacey). She will be sadly missed by her brothers Bernard and John, and sister Ella Doty and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great children.
Iva was predeceased by her son Thyle, husbands Leonard King and Roy Byerly, brothers Bill, Gordon and Dennis, sisters Maude Swinston, Rose Bowers, Hilda Howard, May Badger, Mary Yarkie, Laura Brown and parents, Harry and Ella Smith.
As per Iva’s wishes, there is no visitation or funeral service at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
