So sorry for your loss. Helen has been like a part of my family for as long as I can remember. When I first met her at 5 years old, she treated me like her own and I fit right in. I was included in many outings with my best friend, her only daughter, Dorothy. I still can see her at bedtime in her Pj’s, her hair up in pin curls, and always smiling. She made me feel like I belonged. Through the years, nothing changed except that she didn’t have to curl her hair anymore. I saw her regularly, and she has been a special part of my life until the end. We shared friends and stories and always were comfortable with that. I will miss her, because she WAS definitely my family too, like I feel about you all. I love you all, and my heart breaks with you. I just wanted you to know that. Sincere condolences to you all. XXXOOO
Brian & Diane; Clarence & Monica, Dorothy & George and to all the Rae family. …sending condolences for the loss of your mom & grandmother….thinking of you all.
My deepest sympathy & sincere condolences at this very difficult time. Helen was a lady like no other. She was so very special, unique, definitely one of a kind! She welcomed everyone she met with warmth & a beautiful smile. She touched the hearts of so many. I will truly miss her. We spent many years playing crib, going to the bingo, fishing, attending flea markets and most of all just having conversations over a cup of tea. She was a wonderful grandmother to Casey & a great mother-in-law. My heart grieves with the family. I will always cherish and remember our precious time we spent together. She will remain in my heart forever. Love Bernice XOXOXOXO
