I read this with so much sadness. I find it hard to believe he’s gone. Please know all of you are in my heart and thoughts. I look forward to the day when we can be together and celebrate his life. I love you.

Wow what a shock when i came across Gord’s obit. I was in disbelief that he had passed. Im so so sorry for you Diane and your family a good man, husband, dad and friend gone too soon. He is now with the rest of his family so rest assured he was welcomed with open arms !!! RIP GORD

Dear Diane and Family So sad to hear about Gord. Far too young. We had a lot of fun times with Gord when he would come to the family cottage in White River. A lot of cards and game playing. Funniest thing was playing the game Balderdash. We could never figure out how Gord stayed ahead with points until he confessed he was choosing his own definition as the correct answer. He would score points and we were none the wiser. Decades later, every time we play, we still laugh about it. Gord had a heart of gold and I am truly sorry of your loss.

I met Gord a long time ago. He had the greatest brown eyes. I met Gord with Didi, through Maggie. I truly thought of Gord like a brother and I was his big sister. I am so sorry to hear of Gord`s passing. You were together for as long as I can remember, well at least since Marriage Encounter! We had lots of laughs that weekend and learned a ton about ourselves and our partners. I think your "Date Nights" were the secret to a long and lasting marriage. You both stayed strong especially through your battle with Cancer and carried on to raise two wonderful daughters and now a grandchild. I know it is a difficult time but remember you are blessed with a beautiful family and I know Gord is watching over all of you.
