It is with great sadness we must share that Geneva passed away peacefully with family gathered around on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 84 years of age.
She was predeceased by her husband Alec, mother Rita, father Lachlan, and brother Stanley. Geneva is lovingly remembered by her son Hal (Barbara), son Casey (Rose), daughter Cathy (Stephen) Garland, sister Marlyn (Jack) Ducharme, brother Glenn (Tina) Scott and niece Laurie (Brett) Hilton. She will also be missed and fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Alx, Kyle, Samantha, Ryan, Stephanie, Alexander, Jessica and her two great granddaughters Brooklyn and Stella.
Geneva was a caring friend, loving wife and mother. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She also, liked watching classic black and white movies, knitting and baking.
A heartfelt thanks goes to the doctors and nurses who cared for Geneva at the hospice of the Bingham Memorial Hospital in Matheson. Also, Sharon and the other VON nurses that came to help her out at home.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be a private burial of both Geneva and Alec.
