Suddenly in his home, on Monday, July 14, 2008. Fred is predeceased by his mother Jackie and his grandmother Henrietta Dumpus. Fred is lovingly and forever remembered by his son Joshua Spack of Timmins; his father Helmut Johanson of Kirkland Lake; his sister Judy (husband Andy) McKnight of Kirkland Lake; his brother Dave (wife Bonnie) Johanson of Edmonton; his nephew Andrew McKnight of Sudbury as well as his cousin Robert Brassard of Kirkland Lake. Fred will also be missed by his good friends Lorne Larocque, Richard Dinelle, Mike Harasym, Benny Lacroix, Jim Stevenson and many others. The family will receive relatives and friends at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, ON., P2N 3L1) on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the “Teck-Hughes Chapel” of the Monette & French Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Sue Berlingeri officiating.
