STOKES, Ernest Williams – “The Big E.W.” Passed away peacefully on January 12, 2008. Ernie leaves behind his children Martin Stokes, Tina (David) Listigovers, Sheri (Russell) Williams. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jessie, Christopher, Tyler, Maggie and Abigail. Great appreciation to Andrew and Sally Peters for their love and devotion to their much loved friend. A longtime resident and patron of the Danforth E.W. Stokes was awarded the Willow Pub’s first “Ernie Award” for the best dressed man on the Danforth. Ernie had a passion for sports. He was a devoted Argos and Leafs fan, and for those who don’t know our Dad, he was a closet fan of the New York Yankees. He had many classic sayings, two of his favorites were; “BRING ON THE LEAFS” AND “BOOM”. We love and miss you!Offer Condolence for the family of Ernest Williams Stokes
