SIMPSON, Douglas It is with sorrow that the family announces his death at his residence, August 4th, 2010 at the age of 72 years. Son of the late Milton and the late Dorothy (née Gould) Simpson. Beloved husband of Cecilia (née Meagher) Simpson of Kirkland Lake. Loving father of Todd Simpson (Bev) of Red Deer, Alberta and of Kimberly Bernard (Jean) of Fabre, Quebec. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Steven, Bradley, Aaron, Ryan and Dustin. Dear brother of Donald Simpson (Lorna) of Lindsay and Joan Griffith (Robert) of Scarborough. He will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law Margaret Farstad and his brother-in-law Bob Farstad both of Kirkland Lake and by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends for a funeral service at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL (450, Government Rd. West, Kirkland Lake, ON) Saturday, August 7th, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Father Wayne Mills officiating. Internment of cremains to follow at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery.
