WEISFLOCK, Don
With heavy hearts the family announces the death of Mr. Don Weisflock at the age of 63 years. Don passed away at Kirkland & District Hospital on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 with his wife Merina by his side. Don was born December 31, 1949 in Kirkland Lake to Edward Weisflock and Shirley Armstrong. He loved to play hockey, baseball, golf, coach hockey, refereed hockey and umpire baseball. Pre-deceased by son Travis, daughter Cheryl, father Edward, father-in-law Johnny Gibson, mother-in-law Eva Gibson and brother-in-law Dwight Gibson, Morley Gibson & Ira Geddes. He is survived by his wife Merina, son Trevor, mother Shirley Armstrong, sisters Susan Graham (Lyle), Carol Tremblay (Rod), brother Brian & his aunt Irma Pilon. Don will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, sister-in law Vanessa Geddes, Cheryl Truax (Harvey) and brother-in law Jim Gibson (Sirpa) In keeping with Don’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place and Don’s ashes will be laid to rest at their family plot in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. In memory contributions to the House of Kin, 1889 Regent St., Sudbury, ON P3E 3Z7 or the All Heart Pet Rescue, 430 Oakwood Rd., Powassan, ON P0H 1Z0, will be greatly appreciated by the family.
