We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Chez ,our deepest condolences goes out to the family. I have a lot of great memories of Chez from the time he took me under his wing when I was 15 years old and worked at KL machine. He picked me up every morning to make sure I got to work. Lol and our friendship continued for the rest of our lives. I loved when he house sat for Anna in KL and come to visit everyone at the shops. Always fun to see him. And now we live in the Bay, we used to see him at his office at the mall. Going to miss him big time ! ❤️ Kaye & Lynn Stabryla

Sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
VERY sad to hear about the recent passing away of 'CHES'! He was a fun loving character and he enjoyed chatting with friends and neighbours. I recall when 'CHES' started working at the KL Machine and Welding Corp. in Kirkland Lake when he was around 16 years old and was one of their best welders until he retired.
Over the past number of years, if you drove down Trout Lake Road in North Bay around noon every day, you would see him walking to North-Gate Mall to have a coffee and chat with friends along with telling them a new joke.
God Bless him and may he rest in peace.

I am sad to learn of Ches’s passing. So many grand memories of Ches from Kirkland Lake Machine & Welding days…he was a hard worker, a loyal and dedicated employee….and a character!
Deep condolences to all of you.
So very sorry to hear this news.... I adored Ches. We shared a lot of laughs together at the St Jeans! He came and stayed with me in Toronto for a few days many years ago while here for medical appointments... it was memorable! Took him years to get over Charlotte moving him to North Bay... !? I attribute my "colourful lexicon" to him! Simply unforgettable.... Thanks for all the laughs Ches. Bev Nickoloff xo
