G. BRIAN KIELY,

2021

G. “Brian” Kiely – Passed away at Extendicare Kirkland Lake on Saturday, September 5, 2015, surrounded by his family, friends and caring staff. Sadly missed by his family: Cathy, Barbara (Ian), Michael (Linda), Kevin (Helga), Patrick (Lorraine), Bill (Linda). Predeceased by his parents James and Cecelia, brother Marvin, and brother- in- law Lennox Noack. He will also be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews. Brian enjoyed his cottage and outdoor activities with his dog Molson. For several years, Brian was a dedicated volunteer for the Kirkland Lake Cross Country Ski Trails. Brian spent over 40 years employed as a licensed machinist in Orillia, ON. He took great pride in his work, building and repairing intricate parts used in the paper industry and manufacturing. In his retirement years, Brian worked in the Dairy Dep’t at Your Independent Grocery, and enjoyed running into friends and former school chums from years gone by. When Brian fell ill, his employer said “they had big shoes to fill.” Donations can be made in his honor to the Timiskaming Diabetes Foot Care Program (C/O KDH- 145 Government Road East, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3P4). Our family was deeply touched by the amazing care and compassion shown by the staff of Extendicare during Brian’s illness. Thank you for being there for Brian and our family. Brian will be remembered as a unique and fiercely independent person. He will live forever in our hearts. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Name Parish, followed by internment in the family plot at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Please join family and friends at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 87, for a joint Celebration of Life reception for both Brian and his brother Marvin who passed away last October. Light lunch and refreshments will be served.Offer Condolence for the family of G. Brian Kiely

Dear family of Brian Kiely, I extend my condolence. Imagine yourself living on a Paradise earth where waking up in the morning no longer brings aches, pains or any other infirmities. All of those are gone. (Isaiah 33:24; Revelation 21:3,4) Such will be the blessings you and Brian can enjoy when God’s Kingdom government and his will are done on earth as we pray for daily. (Matthew 6:9-10) When you are ready and you would like to know Why we Die and What is God’s Kingdom, visit jw. org for the Bibles answer. You will soon realize that Gods promises are not a dream, but will be fulfilled very soon because God does not lie. (Numbers 23:19)

I want to express my heartfelt condolence to Brian’s family. I worked with Brian at Kirkland Lake YIG; Brian in Dairy and I in Produce. Both of us had retired from previous career positions. Independent, conscientious, motivated, generous, are only a few of the attributes Brian demonstrated to his fellow workers, customers, and the public in general. Stephen Boaro
