Rest now my friend, your passing leaves a void that will never be filled. Condolences to the family.

This is truly shocking and sad news. Barry is one of my favorite people and I loved our random chats, as recent as October. I hope he knew how much I liked him. Condolences to his family. I shall miss seeing him. Lynn Murray (Bubbles).

Jayne, Katherine and Evan – oh, the stories I could tell of all the fun and adventurous times Barry, myself, Kellar (Stoker), Robert (Stones) and Steve (Tonk) have had togehter growing up in Kirkland. We spent many a day on the lakes and rivers paddling and fishing. Camping out on islands, journeys by canoe, shooting rapids. We made memories which still resonate in my mind.. Barry will be missed by everyone whose life he entered. I am truly sadden by his passing.

To you who are left in his passing remember his his unconditional love and giving spirit. I’ll always remember his wit and humor and those days and nights we spent up at the shed telling tales of our past heroics and missteps. He will be sadly missed and our condolences to all.

I first met Barry when he was a young boy and he taught me how to take a chipmunk. I hadn’t even started school….although our lives went in different directions we reestablished a friendship a few years ago. When we sat and talked in recent years I could still see the boy I met 60 years ago. He was a good person. My condolences to his family but remember others also share in your loss
