Art Ladouceur passed away after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease on Saturday, December 25, 2010 at the age of 74 years. He had been a resident of the Teck Pioneer Residence for the last 6 years. Art was predeceased by his son Ronald; parents Arthur and Florence and siblings Helen Madore, Annette Mack and Lionel Ladouceur. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Pearl (née Dendiuk); children Gary (Jennifer) Ladouceur of Bolton and Brian Ladouceur of Barrie and granddaughters Jillian and Shannon. Art is also survived by his siblings Doris Sobush (late Clarence) and Fern Ladouceur (late Norah). Art was a great lover of animals and enjoyed the outdoors. A Memorial Service will be held in the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the Monette & French Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Art will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery in the spring.
