ANNE BERTHA PRATT,
Mrs. Anne Bertha Pratt, a longtime resident of Kirkland Lake passed away after a short illness, in the presence of her Lord, Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Kirkland & District Hospital at the age of 92 years. Born in Abrams River, Nova Scotia on December 15, 1917, she settled in Kirkland Lake in September 1945 and was born again in 1949. Anne Bertha was predeceased by her loving husband Howard. She is survived by her daughters Donna and husband Gerard van Dop of Delta, B.C., and Linda and husband Peter Albers of Barrhead, AB.; her grandchildren Emma and Bryson Albers as well as her sister Christine Pothier. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Saturday, April 24 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a service in the “Teck-Hughes Chapel”. Anne will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Donations in Anne Bertha’s memory may be made to the Kirkland & District Hospital (P.O.
