ANGELE LELIEVRE,
Peacefully with her loving family by her side, Angele Lelievre passed away on Thursday December 13, 2007 at the Kirkland & District Hospital. Angele is predeceased by her beloved husband and soul mate of 51 years, Marcel Lelievre. Angele is predeceased by her parents Pantaleon & Ernestine (Magny) Trepanier, brothers: Benoit, Jean Baptiste, Jules, Charles, Paul Roland, Bernabe, Gaston, Martin, Paul Emile, Denis and sisters: Jeanne, Gilberte, Simone, Cecile Vermette & and Berthe Dumont. She is sadly missed by her surviving sister Magella Mongeon, and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many brothers & sisters in law. Angele was a long time employee of Canada Trust. She was instrumental in the opening of the first branch of Northland Trust in 1961 presently known as TD Canada Trust. After many years of service she retired at the age of 60. Angele was very much involved in the community. She was an active member and volunteer of the Canadian Cancer Society, United Way, Kirkland Hospital Auxilliary, member of Encore Club, Club 50 and devoted member of the Assomption Church. Angele loved to be with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed sitting on her porch at her long time residence at 114A Gov’t Rd West watching the traffic go by and welcoming friends and family to drop in for a chat. The family will welcome relatives and friends on Sunday December 16, 2007 at the Monette & French Funeral Home between 7:00 & 9:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at the assumption church on Monday December 17, 2007 at 2:00p.m. Angele will be laid to rest at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery in the spring.
