Décédé, le 6 aout 2016, M. André Génier, à l’âge de 80 ans. Il est prédécédé de son épouse Raymonde (née Bertrand), son garçon Raynald Génier et de ses parents Léopold et Fernande (née Chartrand) Génier. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants soit – Serge (Danielle) Génier, Lyne (Luc) Desjardins, Colin (Laura) Génier, Joël Génier; ses petits enfants soit – Billie (Brian Tuinema), Samuel Génier (Ali Robbins), Eric Desjardins (Isabelle Houle), Melanie Desjardins (Leigh Gravelle), Alexandre Desjardins, Joshua Génier, Riley Génier, Zacharie Génier; son frère Leo (Rose-Helene) Genier et ses sœurs Elvine (Joe) Calaiezzi et Renée (John) Parker ainsi que son arrière petit enfant Helena Gravelle. André tenait une place spéciale pour la famille Bertrand ainsi que de nombreux neveux, nieces, parents et amis. La famille recevra parents et amis au salon Funéraire FRENCH FAMILY (111 rue Burnside, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3L1) le lundi 8 aout, 2016 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Les obsèques funéraires auront lieu le mardi 9 aout, 2016 en la Paroisse Assomption de Kirkland Lake à 10h . Predeceased by his wife Raymonde (nee Bertrand); his son Raynald; his parents Leopold and Fernande (nee Chartrand) Genier. Andre is also survived by the Bertrand family who were very close and dear to him and held a special place in his heart; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will welcome friends at the FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME (111 Burnside Drive, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3L1) on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from Paroisse Assomption.
