CONNORS, Andre (Andy) – with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear husband and
father, Andy, peacefully at his cottage on Monday, June 6, 2022 in his 64th year.
Beloved husband of 42 years to Debbie Connors (nee Abernot) .
Loving father of Eric Connors (Valerie Cadieux), Kyle Connors (Jordana) and Andrew Connors (Sarah Neadow).
He leaves behind three beautiful granddaughters, Fabianne Cadieux, Kaley Connors and Kendra Connors.
Cherished brother to Don Connors, Pat Klimtschuck (George), Gerry Connors, Sandra Connors (Mike Roach), Mark Connors (Kathy McKenzie), Jim Connors (Sherri Sands), Linda Habibi (nee
Connors), and Sean Connors.
He will be missed by mother-in-law Fern Moise (Henry), brother-in-law, Mike Abernot (Colleen Zubyck) and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as many long- time friends.
Predeceased by his mother Albertine (Deena) Connors, his father Harvey Connors, sister Paula Connors, brother Robert (Bob) Connors, and his sisters-in-law, Sheila Connors, and Julia Boudreau.
Andy was born in New Liskeard and resided in Englehart. He worked at Georgia Pacific (previously Grant Forest Product) since 1981 as a talented saw filer/millwright.
He loved fishing and hunting. He took pride in his gardening and was born with a green thumb. He loved being with his family, especially his three sons whom he was so proud of and his high
school sweetheart, Debbie.
His favourite place to spend time was at his cottage along the Montreal River. He put his heart
into making it a beautiful place for family and friends to spend time.
Andy loved to play any sport and was a natural athlete. He loved watching hockey and was a
huge fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Andy was always willing to help, there was no task too big, as he was always putting others
before himself.
He will be forever missed by all those who knew him.
As per the family's wishes, cremation has taken place as well as a private celebration of life.
