Adelard “Paul” Bérubé passed away at the Teck Pioneer Residence on Friday, February 29, 2008 at the age of 81 years. He was predeceased by his son Paul in 1957 and spouse Céline “Mimi” in 2005. Paul is survived by his five children Andre (Colleen), Lise (Andre), Suzanne (Terry), Violette (Rob) and Daniel (Peggy). He will be fondly remembered by ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Paul came from a family of fourteen children and is survived by four sisters. The Bérubé family received relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the “Teck – Hughes Chapel” of the Monette & French Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Wayne Mills officiating. Paul will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Donations in Paul’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (P.O. Box 1122 Kirkland Lake, ON.
