PACEY, Verdun

In memory of Mr. Verdun Pacey, who passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the age of 90. Cherished husband of 66 years to Dorothy (McRae) Pacey. Beloved father to Dianne (Phred Roseboom) and Debby (Frank Broughton), loving grandfather of Jeffrey (Amanda) and Amy (Thomas Watts) and great grandfather of Rae Hannah and Thomas Xavier (Watts), dear brother of Allen (Terry) and brother-in-law of Verla (Lorne) and Ruth (Jack). Verdun was a hardworking man who owned and operated garages and a GM dealership with his two older brothers in Temagami. He later became the Town's Superintendent. He was an active member of the Temagami United Church, the Haileybury Masonic Lodge and was a charter member of both the Temagami Lions Club and the Temagami Legion. Verdun always had a twinkle in his eye and zest for life. He dearly loved Temagami - it was home. Verdun will be sadly missed by many dear friends and relatives. The family of the late Verdun Pacey will receive friends at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 1pm until time for the service at 2pm. If desired, donations to the Temagami Lions Club or the Temagami Legion will be gratefully acknowledged.
