THOMAS DENNER,

It is with deep sadness that we announce Mr. Denner’s passing at his home on Sunday, August 28, 2011. Thomas was predeceased by his wife Theresa Lucille (née Gravelle); his parents Thomas and Leose (née Mondeville) Denner; his daughter Patricia Denner and his granddaughter Laura Bann. Thomas is survived and lovingly remembered by his children Elizabeth (Richard) Arbour, David (Monique) Denner, Leo Denner (Stirling Burke); his dear children Melissa “Arbour” (Will) McLachlan, Jenn Arbour (Mike Casey), Chris Denner, Vickie Denner and William Bann as well as his precious first great grandchild James Euan McLachlan. Family will welcome friends at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, ON., P2N 3L1) on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Parish. Donations in Thomas’ memory may be made to the Temiskaming Diabetes Program (P.O. Box 3000, Kirkland Lake, ON., P2N 3P4) or to the Canadian Cancer Society (61 Main Street, Kirkland Lake, ON., P2N 3E4). To the Denner family, please accept our sincerest sympathies. I worked with Tom at the Kerr for several years and often chatted with him at the coffee shop in recent years. He had a kind word for everyone and a big smile that could light up a room.
