The family of Thomas Baker announces his passing at the Teck Pioneer Residence on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the age of 89 years. Thomas was predeceased by his daughter Sheila Doose. He is survived by his spouse Myrtle; sons Bobby, Ron & Gary; son in law Henry Doose; grandchildren Tammy, Lee & Mark Baker, Roger, Brian and David Doose and Ruby & Gary Jr. Baker and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery (Section 11, Range 2) on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in Thomas’ memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.Offer Condolence for the family of Thomas Baker

To the Baker Family, sorry to hear of your loss. Tommy will be sadly missed, his great coin tricks,jokes and especially is little dance and jig, he could still move at his great age. He was one of the best loggers and clearers of the northern areas the future generations should be thankful for men like him he was a true pioneer.
