Sherwood Hyatt The family of Sherwood Hyatt announces with sorrow his passing at Extendicare in Kirkland Lake on July 29, 2010 at the age of 74 years. Sherwood is predeceased by his father Sherman Hyatt and his brothers in-law René White and Al Gabriel. He is survived by his mother Ruth Hyatt and sisters Joan Gabriel and April Hyatt (Friend Jim); nieces and nephews; Rick (Cheryl) White, Elaine White, Marlene (Bruce) Stewart and Adam Turcotte; great nieces and nephews Amanda McCombe (Ryan Breault), Sara White (Jason Boisvert), Brandon White, Cole McCombe and John Stewart and a great great niece Madlyn Boisvert. As per Sherwood’s wishes cremation will take place and a private grave side service will be held at a later date.Offer Condolence for the family of Sherwood Hyatt

My sincere sympathy to the Hyatts and families. Sherwood always had a story to tell me; he would call me over at the bingo hall and tell me about the win he had just missed, or about his cat who would let him know the taxi had arrived for his trip downtown. Sherwood always asked about my family and would share news of other VTowners. He will always be a part of my memory of my youth in VTown. He was a good guy and will be missed.
