It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle , Cousin and Friend, Roy Enair. Roy passed away with family by his side at the Oshawa hospital on Monday September 5th. Roy was predeceased by his mother “Gerty” and father Russell and lost the light of his life, his wife Donna in 1999. Roy will be dearly missed by his loving children Chris, Carrie (Chris) and Lori. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Shawna, Robbie, Kristin and Jamey. Sadly missed by his brothers Charles (Ginette), Melvin (Sue) and ‘sister’ Maggie (Neil) Lee. Roy will also be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Roy was a Sergeant Major in the Army and the Algonquin Regiment, he is a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Masonic Lodge. Roy being an avid sportsman taught the safe gun handling course and was also an executive member of the Fish and Game. Roy was employed for many years at the Adams Mine, after retiring from the mine Roy and Donna bought the Golden Eagle Campground which they operated for many years. Family and friends may pay their respects at a service at the Monette and French Funeral home on Saturday, September 10th at 10 A.M.
