Robin & Family
So sorry to hear of your loss of Robin. We will miss his friendly smile and pleasant nature. May he R I P.
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robin John Marshall, on January 17, 2024 at the Blanche River Health Kirkland Lake site after a valiant battle with lung disease.
Robin was born June 28, 1947 in Saffron Walden, England. He was predeceased by his father and mother Cyril and Phyllis Marshall, his only sibling Christopher Marshall and his in-laws Bob and Eileen Draper. Robin will be greatly missed by his wife Robin, his daughter Kara(Eli), son Ryan(Corina), and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, sister and brother-in-law‘s. Poppa enjoyed all visits from grandchildren Jordynn, Trent and Kohl.
Robin was educated in Kirkland Lake and worked as a machinist at Heath and Sherwood and Westinghouse. Later he ran his own business “Marshall Sports and Service”. He loved working at the arena because hockey was his passion and he loved sharing with customers that his nephew played in the NHL where he was on two teams that each won the Stanley Cup.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff who gave great care to Robin in his final days. In keeping with Robin‘s wishes there will be no funeral however we hope to host a celebration of life at a later date.
Donations and Robins’ memory may be made to Jumpstart for kids.
So sorry to hear of your loss of Robin. We will miss his friendly smile and pleasant nature. May he R I P.
