D'ARC LANDRIAULT, Rita Jeanne
Rita Jeanne Landriault (Cloutier) passed peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Extendicare Nursing Home surrounded by family. Daughter of the late Ernest and Agléa Cloutier (Boucher), Rita was born on May 20, 1924 in Tachéreau, Quebec. She was one of 7 siblings. Predeceased by her husband John H. Landriault (1987), Rita is survived by her eight children-Roger (Liliane); Denise (late Joe Brennan); Rollande (Phil Breault); Danielle (late Bert Fournier); Jacqueline Stanley; Joan (Robert Brazeau); Maurice (Lynn); John (Alice); 22 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. Rita raised her children on the family farm in Hudson Township, before moving to New Liskeard. For many years she worked at Edna’s, then Clark’s Ladies Wear. She had many interests in life, but her passions were fishing, playing cards, dancing and family gatherings. The family will lovingly treasure the countless celebrations with her throughout the years. Words cannot express our gratitude to Northdale Manor for the care provided to Rita while a resident there and to Dr. Don Davies and the staff of Extendicare Nursing Home for their exemplary care, support and compassion. Thank you.
