DESJARDINS, Raymonde
In loving memory of Mrs. Raymonde Desjardins, who passed away at the Temiskaming Lodge with family by her side on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the age of 84. Raymonde was born in Earlton, Ontario to Wilfrid Paiement and Rosilia Baril, she was one of 16 children. She married Conrad Desjardins on August 14, 1951 and they started their own family as well as establishing their own business, CONRAY DYMOND Trucklines. Raymonde will be remembered by many because she was so sociable and who could forget her driving her "Harley" scooter through the streets of New Liskeard. She enjoyed dancing, singing, laughing, hugging and kissing. Playing cards with her family, traveling, making sugar pie and gardening were some of her favorite things to do. Raymonde will be missed by her children, Carole (Wilfrid Madore), Lucille, Madeleine (Mike Farrell), Liliane (Guy Labonté), Julie-Anne (Marc Lantaigne), daughter-in-law Madeleine, 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, her siblings, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Conrad and her son Denis. The family will receive friends and family on Monday from 2 until 4 and from 7 until 9 pm at the Perrin Funeral Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11 am from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. If desired, donations to the Temiskaming Lodge or The Temiskaming Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged. The family would like to express an enormous thank you to everyone involved in Raymonde's care which kept her being the social butterfly she had always been.
