LALONDE, Raymond 1944-2017: It is with great love and sadness that the family announces the passing of Ray Lalonde on November 6th, at the age of 73. He was predeceased by his parents Jeanne (née Caza) and John Lalonde, his mother-in-law Delima Renaud and his father-in-law Fernand Renaud. Left to mourn are his partner, Fernande Renaud; his daughters, Vicki (Dean) and Barb (Nelson); his sons, Shawn (Judy) and Steven; his brother-in-law, Luc (Sheila); his sisters-in-law, Lynne, Pauline (Dele) and Michelle (Scot); and many nieces and nephews. Grandpa Ray will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Ashley (Tommy), Shawn (Lindsay), Breanna, Hunter, Kenzie, Ryan and Erica, and five great-grandchildren. Ray worked many different jobs in many different places, including as a truck driver, a bartender/bouncer, a miner and a small-engine mechanic. He loved watching his grandchildren grow up, watching wrestling, fishing, cars and spending time with his family.AquaCremation:

Ray travelled a long road of pain and suffering which has now come to an end and he can rest in peace. We had many a good conversations and will certainly miss seeing him scooting around town in his buggy and often with his fur baby. Tim Hortons West will not be the same without him. Our sincere condolence to Fern, Vicki, Barb, Shawn, Steven and families, Remember the good times. Rest In Peace Ray Gloria and Willie

I was deeply saddened to hear of Ray’s passing. I would arrive at work and Ray would be sitting outside having a coffee often surrounded by friends. Over the years I would like to say we became friends. We often chatted about work, drag races or Ray would just tell me stories about Kirkland Lake. I will miss Ray and our chats. Rest in peace my friend. My deepest condolences to Fern and the entire LaLonde family.
