JAKOB, Patsy Mary
In loving memory of Mrs. Patsy Jakob (nee Taillon) who passed away January 12, 2017 at the Health Science North Hospital in Sudbury. She married the love of her life, Mr. Karl Jakob on June 27, 1970 and together they had 2 children Lee and Lisa (Brant Caughill). She was the loving grandmother of Hannah, Alexa, Lucas, Shaena, Christa (Kurt Wagner), Allison and Samantha; She was also the loving mother of their furry child (dog) Daisy. Also left to mourn is her sister Norma Knight, her brothers; Bryant Taillon (Christen), Richard Taillon (Doreen)and Buddy Taillon. Mrs. Jakob is predeceased by her parents George and Alice Taillon (nee Toye); her brothers; Ron MacDougal, Carman Taillon and Melvin Taillon. Mrs. Jakob was a foster mom extraordinaire. Her greatest joy was her family, her grand kids were her world. Her family would tell you that she was the most generous person ever and loved caring for others. She was a lover of nanaimo bars, loved camping and photography. Her call sign for trucking was buttercup :) She was also a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The family of the late Mrs. Jakob will receive friends and family at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, January 17 from 11 a.m. until time for the service at 12 p.m. Mr. Tom Cambridge officiating. Internment will take place in the spring at the Kenabeek Cemetery. If desired donations to the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be appreciated.
