Well Dad, 9 years have now passed and you have many people to surround you now. Mr. D’Andrea can now back you up on the accordion when you are playing the spoons. I hope the Jackson boys are staying out of trouble because I do know that you tend to follow their lead. I imagine they are enjoying their time without the sisters nagging them. It has really been different this past year without Aunt Joan and Uncle Andy around. It has been tough for Janice and Diane but we have become very close in these past 2 years. It is nice to have them back in my life. Diane and Bernie are Grandparents as Colina had her first. A sweet wee boy named Etienne. It is too bad they are not here to enjoy him. We have seen lots of sign of their presence in his room. Colina will watch him on the baby monitor and see him laughing and giggling with someone and there is no one their. They are certainly keeping a watchful eyes. Miss you Dad….xo

Bon courage! All your cousins from the Quebec Temiscamingue area are joining me to offer to Jean and her children, and also to Oliva’s extended family, our most sincere condoleances. Circumstances, mostly the bad weather, prevent us to attend the funeral service, but our prayers will be with you. During the next few days, we will make a collective donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, (through the Monette and French Funeral Home). Be courageous!

Hi Dad: Well it has been 5 years already since you left us. I am sure you have been watching over us and giggling a bit. So you now have another granddaughter and her name will Ella. Better known as Ella Bella. She is a darlin and very different from Miss Sophie. Miss Sophie loves to call her Nana via Skype and has quite deep conversations about life with her. It sure does warm Moms heart when she gets those calls. Jesse and Jackie have grown into wonderful young adults and Cathys kids, well they are no longer kids. Carla lives in a beautiful town in Nova Scotia, Clayton has been in Ottawa for a bit and Miss Meg works for Nor Arc and lives at home with Cathy and Chuck. Suzy is still with us and still loves her car ride. She doesn’t often get the front seat like she did with you as Barney seems to think he is the boss. We all know that Suzy, being the female that she is, is the boss. It is nice to sit and write to you without tears in my eyes. I miss you tons and I often here your giggle when silly things happen so I know you are around and keeping us all safe. Love you Papa! “Have a nice day!”

Dear Jean! Please accept these few words as a token of my condolences for you and your family. I have fond memories of Oli during his time at Northern College. I also recall how the two of you were so dedicated in helping laid-off miners in KL. Oli had retired by then, but couldn’t say no to me when I took him out of retirement for a few months to work on some training contracts in Temiscamingue. He was always willing to help out but always stood his ground about his convictions. It was an honour and a pleasure to have known Oli. God Bless. Rose-Lyne

Dad
Today’s the day Dad, that Mom finally gets to see you again. Make room at your table for lunch today. I miss you terribly and look forward to the day I can join you both.
Lots has happened since you left us. I’m sure Mom will share.
Can you drop a dime my way today. I need to know you will be there to greet Mom. ️
