It is with great sorrow that the family of Norman Charles McKenzie, of Matheson, announces his death on Thursday, March 5, 2015. He passed away with his wife and family around him at Bingham Memorial Hospital. Norm is pre-deceased by his mother Evelyn and father Anthony McKenzie of Englehart and younger brother Danny. He is survived by he leaves behind his wife Audrey, daughter Ann and her sons Cameron and Forrest, as well as son Michael and daughter in law Laura all of Matheson. Norm has three brothers Tony and wife Margaret of North Bay, Jim of Kirkland Lake and Rick and Juanita of Sydney, Nova Scotia. There are too many to list of the nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews he loved dearly. Over the years he has acquired many friends who were family; Garnet, Lorraine and Dixie Lamb, Harold Pullen and family, plus Kit and Brenda Clark all of Matheson. Norm is remembered by everyone as a devoted family man, hunter, fisherman and jokester at heart. A Celebration of Norm`s Life will be held at the Floyd Hembruff Curling Club, Matheson, on Saturday, March 14, from 1 - 5 pm. In memory contributions to Bingham Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and respected, will be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McDonald Funeral Home, Englehart.
