Young and Restless have lost one of their faithful followers. When ever I saw your Dad at either the Teck or Timmy’s we would sit down and pretend that we were gossiping about the real world and it would be our show Young and Restless. We would have everyone listening, trying to figure out who in Kirkland Lake, we were talking about. Little did they know that it was the characters of the Young and Restless. I am going to miss those conversations. Miss you Martin. Joanne Mallette

Greetings from Lahti. Finland Pleasant memories…Oh! how they linger in view of his passing recently. To begin with, I do remember “Tony” Crema. In view of this “Martin” had a very strong old-fashioned work ethic driven by hardwork. The Crema family is among those who can be recognized as good community citizens in Kirkland Lake. May God Bless and a “tribute” to a good man Psalms 106. 17-18

Dear Kevin and Karen. You may not remember me as it has been a very long time – about 35 years since we were last together in K.L. as kids. My family and I lived next door to you at 25 Balsam those many years ago. Some of my earliest and happiest memories are of the fun we had playing together on all of those construction sites developed by your father. I remember him as a very hard working man who cared deeply for his family. He also loved snowmobiling (he and your mom took us for many rides on the arctic cats). My deepest sympathies to you both and your respective families. Gilles.
