Debbie, Vic and Family, We’re so very sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Mom. I have known Rita since we worked together at the Commodore Motel more years ago than I want to admit to. She was a lady with a great sense of humour and will be truly missed.

To Debbie, Darlene & Gail: I want you to know that my mom (Lila Quevillon) & myself would have attended your Mom’s Aux./Memorial Service & Funeral had we not fallen ill. Unfortunately, while attending my aunt’s funeral in Sudbury, I was hospitalized for complications to my heart & lungs, as a result of testing positive to the H1N1 Virus (Swine flu). Both my girls and mom fell ill as well, & we were quarantined for almost 2 wks. once home. In my heart, your mom was always very special to me. I remember our years with both our moms and the 4 of us catering weddings & various events with our black & white uniforms. When my parents celebrated their 50th Anniversary & I was living away from K.L., I will never forget the help your mom gave to me in order to have the Ladies Aux. volunteer to cater the event. They were all simply wonderful to me, as well as to my parents! We had several phone calls regarding the planning of the surprise party, & with that came a lot of laughs! I was unaware that your mom was even in the hosp. until we attended Grace’s Memorial Service @ the Legion. Right after that, my aunt passed & we left for Sudbury. I wish my mom & I had had the chance to visit her while in the hospital. I know my mom spoke very fondly of your mom, & they had many memories throughout their Aux. Service, both @ the Legion & away for sports, etc. Love, Terry & Lila
