MARCEL PARKER,

It is with sadness that the family of the late Mr. Marcel Parker announces his passing at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the age of 64 years. Marcel was predeceased by his parents Alexandre & Elizabeth Parker and brothers Bob and Gilles Parker. He is survived by his children Shirley Parker of North Bay and Tom Parker of Kirkland Lake; granddaughter Emily Ethier; mother of his children Jacqueline Charbonneau; siblings Pyerrette (Armand) Soucy of Timmins, Michel (Noella) Parker of Cloutier, QC., Francoise Parker of Ottawa and Lise (Marc) Lacasse of Rouyn as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the Monette & French Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Donations in Marcel’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society (206-670 Airport Rd. Timmins, ON. P4P 1J2), Timiskaming Diabetes Program (P.O. Box 3000 Kirkland Lake, ON. P2N 3P4) or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (P.O. Box 1122 Kirkland Lake, ON. P2N 3M7).
