MORIN, Marcel - It is with profound sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Marcel Morin on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at the age of 40 years old. He passed away surrounded by loving family at Health Sciences North Hospital, in Sudbury.
His memory will be treasured forever by his loving wife France Chartrand, his cherished daughters Jamie Morin and Kailey Kennedy and his unborn child who couldn’t wait to meet him. Remembered lovingly by his mother Jacinthe Morin (née Côté), father Jean-Paul Morin, step-father Frank Manton, step-mother Marie Lockington, his brothers Daniel Morin (Lish Craig) and Michel Morin (Crystal Schultz).
He will sadly be missed by his family-in-law Conrad and Suzanne Chartrand, Doris Chartrand, Sylvie (Garry) Bennett, his godmother Gisèle Plouffe (née Morin), his godfather Marion Plouffe (deceased) as well as his nieces and nephews Alivia, Andreanne, Jordan, Jacob, Adrian, James, William, Abbie and Emma. Also missed dearly by numerous relatives, friends and work colleagues.
Marcel was a gifted and intuitive mechanic who took pride in his work. Always a hard worker and someone you could count on for a helping hand. He was well known for his easy-going personality, infectious laugh, love for music and his rocking chairs. He was passionate about building and flying model planes and was a proud member of the Temiskaming And Region Model Aircraft Club. He enjoyed their Crown Land camping spots, fishing, relaxing at campfires with a cold Bud Light and spending quality time with his loved ones. Marcel was a supportive and devoted husband and father. It breaks our hearts that he was taken so unexpectedly. Even though his story was not finished, this genuine and kind soul has left us with so many memories which will be etched in our hearts forever!
