LUCIEN ALBERT MONETTE,

2021

It saddens our hearts to say farewell to Lucien Monette (Bidou). Lucien passed away at the Kirkland & District Hospital at the age of 78 on Friday March 29, 2019. Lucien is survived by his sisters, Helen Jones (Ronald L’Écuyer), Diane Gaudet (late husband Oreas Gaudet), Éveline Gagnon (Camille Gagnon), his brothers Marcel and Roger (Nicole). Lucien will be missed by his 5 children, John, Albert (France), Cecile, Richard, Steven (Therese). Lucien leaves behind 10 grandchildren and great grandchildren and to many nieces and nephews to name. Lucien enjoyed fishing with his family and sitting outside enjoying nature. He loved teasing and joking with everyone he met. He will be dearly missed. No funeral or visitation will be held at this time. There will be two private graveside ceremonies in the spring, one for family and close friends in Temiskaming, Quebec and a second one in Rutherglen, Ontario. The family of Lucien Monette would like to take a moment to sincerely thank all the nursing staff at the Kirkland & District Hospital for the wonderful care he received while he was with them. Your kind hearts helped to reassure us that he was in excellent hands when we could not be with him. Thank you. Offer Condolence for the family of Lucien Albert Monette
